John Williams will always be the maestro of Star Wars music, as evidenced here by the lead track on Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Adventures of Han. However, take nothing away from John Powell who has done an amazing job with the soundtrack for Solo. He has crafted an evocative and compelling score that harkens back to the great, sweeping Western soundtracks of the 50’s and 60’s, weaving in some very familiar themes from the saga and delivering a memorable selection of music that will be played for years to come.
