Half a year after the final episode of Skeleton Crew landed on Disney Plus, there’s been no word on a second season, but speaking with Colliders Steve Weintraub at the Mediterrane Film Festival in Malta, Jon Watts was asked about a sophomore season, and his answer – more by the way he answered it rather than what he said – perhaps gives hope to those crossing their fingers for more adventures from Wim, Fern, KB and Neel.

“I love Star Wars, and I would love to make more Star Wars. I can’t say anything more. We always get in trouble when we do these interviews. I always say something, and I get in trouble. Like, I probably shouldn’t have said that. […] You’re going to get me in trouble.”

Watch our interview with Skeleton Crew showrunners Jon Watts and Chris Ford from late last year.
