He’s the Oscar and Grammy winning composer behind such scores as the Black Panther films, Creed and the multi-nominated Oppenheimer and he’s also the mind behind the already iconic score to The Mandalorian, and speaking with Total Film composer Ludwig Göransson made it clear that he’d relish a return to score their big screen adventures in The Mandalorian & Grogu.

“Right now I’m still living the past couple of months – in this [Oppenheimer] world, enjoying that. I’m sure there will be something new coming along. I did see the Mandalorian movie announcement – that would be great to work on. I just saw the news the other day and that’s so fun!”

Fingers, toes, lekku and montrals crossed that he fulfills his wish and does indeed score the 2026 movie.
