Giving little away while speaking at A Rabbit’s Foot, Matt Smith did reveal that his filming on Star Wars: Starfighter will come relatively late in the process (he films in December, with the movie due to complete filming the week before Christmas) and gave some insight into his process by explaining how he works with the costume design team on his outfits.

“We’re going through the process of trying to find a costume, and sometimes you don’t know if you love a costume until you’ve worn it for a couple of days. I’m about to do Star Wars in December, and we’re sort of trying to develop the look for that.”
