At Star Wars Celebration, the live action versions of Sabine Wren and Chopper were confirmed. With actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo playing the role of Sabine, and the new build of Chopper rolling on to stage. But a major tease was made that more characters will be joining the cast.

Rosario Dawson is confirmed to play Ahsoka, and now Natasha Liu Bordizzo is confirmed as Sabine Wren. Other actors cast in roles include Mary Elizabeth Winstead (“Birds of Prey”), Ray Stevenson (“Vikings”) and Ivanna Sakhno (“Pacific Rim: Uprising”) in currently undisclosed roles.
A 30 second teaser was shown, and that teaser showed a live action version of the below famous mural from the end of Star Wars Rebels. The teaser was not released to wider public. The same teaser also appeared to confirm the appearance of Hera Syndulla, with a similar looking character joining Ahsoka on the bridge of The Ghost. No confirmation of this was given.
