If you’re a member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors guild, then here’s a wonderful opportunity to not only watch Revenge of the Sith on its 20th anniversary, but also to listen to a Q&A with sound editor Matt Wood at the Darryl F. Zanuck Theater on the Fox Studio lot. Now a part of Disney, Fox released the original and prequel trilogies, so what better place to dive into this classic GFFA adventure than there.

Sunday, May the 4th
2:00pm PT
Darryl F. Zanuck Theater
Fox Studio Lot

In 2005, our favorite galaxy far, far away was nearing its climactic battle of good vs evil. One way or another, adorable little Anakin was on the verge of transforming into one of the most iconic villains in the history of cinema. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith went on to be the final Star Wars live action film that George Lucas directed.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this landmark film, come experience the magic in a theater for the very first time in Atmos. And you’ll get to learn all about this film’s innovative sound work from legendary Supervising Sound Editor Matthew Wood. In addition to all of his incredible sound work on a number of Star Wars projects over the years, did you know that he provided the voice for one of the main villains in this film? Whatever you do, don’t hand Matthew too many lightsabers.

This is an MPSE members-only, in person event. +1s are permitted for this event.
