Well, kind of. The former Poe Dameron actor will be appearing in the second season of the Netflix hit series Beef alongside Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny, following on from the debut season which starred executive producers Steven Yeun and Ali Wong and won an amazing eight Emmy Awards. It continues Isaac’s strong run on television which recently includes Scenes From A Marriage and the first season of Marvel’s Moon Knight.

“Beef” is officially moving forward with a second season at Netflix, with Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny set to star.

It had long been rumored that a second season of the series was moving forward but nothing had been officially confirmed until now. The official logline for the new season states, “A young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.”

The season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes. Lee Sung Jin returns as creator, showrunner, and executive producer. Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, and Jake Schreier also executive produce. A24 is the studio.

Daisy Ridley is hinting at news regarding her Rey project, and John Boyega reconnected with Star Wars fans at New York Comic Con last weekend, so is there the chance that 15 years on Commander dameron is now a general? We can but hope.
