Squid Game season 2 arrives 26th December on Netflix

The Acolyte star Lee Jung-jae brings us the good news that season 2 of Squid Game lands on Netflix worldwide on 26th December, bringing the sophomore season of the 2021 global smash to screens worldwide. Can Seong Gi-hun (aka 456) survive another game? We’ll all find out together when the show returns in just 29 days time.

The second season of the South Korean survival thriller horror television series Squid Game, created for television by Korean writer and television producer Hwang Dong-hyuk, is set for release on December 26, 2024. The season is produced by Netflix.

The season stars Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-joon, and Lee Byung-hun. It is set three years after Gi-hun won Squid Game, giving up on going to the United States and returning with a new resolution in mind. He once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of ₩45.6 billion.
