Star Wars and Indiana Jones win and Dave Filoni honoured at the 51st Saturn Awards

The Saturn Awards took place yesterday, and along with the five awards handed out to Lucasfilm productions the night saw Dave Filoni awarded the George Pal Memorial Award for a body of work that has kept the Force flowing through the galaxy far, far away.

It was a banner night for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny which took home three awards including Best Film Music for John Williams, Best Actor in a Film for Harrison Ford and Best Fantasy Film.

On the small screen it was Star Wars chance to shine as The Bad Batch won for Best Animated Series or Special and Andor collected the award for Best New Genre Television Series. The night also saw some of the galaxy’s luminaries come out in their best bib and tucker including droid master Mike McMaster and Obi-Wan Kenobi star Vivien Lyra Blair.

With the Grammy award wins and now the saturns, Sunday 4th February will be a day lonng remembered by all at Lucasfilm. Huge congratulations to all the winners.
