Watch this stunning journey through the Fall of the Republic, using footage from many of the saga episodes and TV shows, as well as words from the opening pages of the 1976 novelisation of Star Wars. Get ready for eleven minutes of dramatically (and skillfully) edited action as we follow the final descent of the greatest democracy the galaxy has ever seen.

After a thousand years of peace, the galaxy is at the cusp of civil war. Thousands of star systems intend to secede from the Republic, having grown tired of its ineffectiveness and bureaucracy. At the center of it all is Anakin Skywalker, a young Jedi student with extraordinary potential. But even he cannot escape the looming crisis…

‘Star Wars: The Fall of the Republic’ is a fan-made montage about the Galactic Republic’s transformation into an empire, centered around the character of Anakin Skywalker.

Footage:
‘The Phantom Menace’ (1999), ‘Attack of the Clones’ (2002), ‘Revenge of the Sith’ (2005), ‘The Clone Wars’ (2008), ‘Rebels’ (2014), ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ (2016), ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ (2018), ‘The Mandalorian’ (2019), ‘The Bad Batch’ (2021), ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ (2021), ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ (2022), ‘Andor’ (2022), ‘Tales of the Jedi’ (2022), ‘Tales of the Empire’ (2024) & ”Tales of the Underworld’ (2025)
