BEWARE SPOILERS: Just like with the previous Disney Plus series, we at Fantha Tracks will be offering our own episode guide for your entertainment! Here we will post every reference, Easter egg, everything named and unnamed per episode and some fun trivia in-between that we have spotted.

Official summary: On a distant island, unsettling questions about identity and destiny arise.

Trivia

The duck/anteater hybrid creatures seen on the Unknown Planet are called skura.

Unless it serves an unknown-as-of-yet story purpose, it is a shame that the planet where Qimir has taken Osha to heal, is not named and that we get a big Unknown Planet as a title onscreen.

This episode also makes clear that the final scenes of Lost / Found, the first episode of the series, took place on the Unknown Planet. You see the same rocky beach, rocks in the sea and the natural pools, using the same filming locations as seen in this episode.

The Polan-717 Jedi transport that Sol uses has been identified as Polan GX-8 through dialogue.

Sol sends out an Emergency Code Zero, which is new.

The Abednedo senator is played by Dee Tails and is named Isedwa Chuwant. Once again the name is based on the repertoire of The Beastie Boys, this time the song “So What’cha Want”. This is also the second time that Dee Tails played an Abednedo, as he was also the performance artist for Slowen Lo in The Last Jedi. Skywalker Sounds David Collins voiced Senator Chuwant.

The Padawan who interrupts Vernestra is named Mog Adana and played by Harry Trevaldwyn. The character was named after crewmembers of the show: Script editor Mog McIntyre and co-executive producer Kor Adana.

As Venestra joins the rescue team about to head out, we can see Mog talking to a Selkath Jedi. The Selkath are a popular species introduced with the game Knights Of The Old Republic, and which made their animated debut in The Clone Wars with the bounty hunter named Chata Hyoki. This is actually the second time we saw the Selkath in live-action. The first time was in the first episode of this series, but it was a blink and you miss it appearance. This time the Selkath Jedi appears much more noticeable.

The sensitivity of Vernestra to traveling into hyperspace is a nod to this affliction she had in The High Republic media featuring her.

Not named in the episode, but the ship that Vernestra uses is named the Cantaros, named after her former Padawan Imri Cantaros as seen in The High Republic media.

The Cantaros is a VKCE-7100x Starcutter, which is a new starship model made by Valkeri-Kuat Consolidated Enterprises. Valkeri-Kuat Consolidated Enterprises shares the names of two previous seen companies. Kuat is a pretty well known world for shipbuilding. Valkeri Enterprises is a relative unknown, but was introduced with the first novel of The High Republic: Light of the Jedi. In the novel it is said that they were responsible for various vehicles and technology used by the Jedi Order like the Jedi Vector.

Two other Jedi join Venestra and Mog on their mission to Khofar, both are unnamed and it is also unknown who played them.

While repairing his helmet, Qimir confirms that the metal it is made out of was indeed cortosis, as we said it was in our previous episode guide. The canon version of cortosis, when molded into a helmet, also has the extra ability of acting like a sensory deprivation headpiece. Something similar, with a tank that slowly decreased its air supply, was seen in The Clone Wars episode Voices when Yoda underwent the deprivation ritual.

Also, Qimir says that when you wear the helmet that it is just you, the Force and what you bring with you. Which is also the same with the Cave of Evil on Dagobah.

The Lightsaber whip being introduced in The Acolyte is not the first of its kind in canon. In The Clone Wars and The Last Jedi we see other electro type whip weapons, but those weren’t able to slice through things like this lightsaber whip is.
