The SurpRise of Skywalker: Gina Carano on ‘that’ Chapter 16 cameo

One of the many treasures of The Mandalorian are the surprises and reveals the show gives us, and those surprises extend beyond the viewing public as the cast are often just as surprised as we are. Speaking with Drunk3PO, Cara Dune actress Gina Carano discussed the sweetest of surprises in Chapter 16 The Rescue.

“I started finding out about it in the make-up trailer, basically because you’re like, ‘Oh wait, who’s that?’,” recalled Carano, who plays Cara Dune. “They didn’t say it in the script.

“Everyone that has worked on The Mandalorian is insane Star Wars fans. They have the shirts and they’re like, ‘Wait a second’. And so, everybody starts doing a little whispering.”
