Launching today, this is Smugglers Gambit, available to play at Disney World and Disneyland when you accept the special mission while in the queue for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run using the Disneyland app, the My Disney Experience app or on Smugglers Gambit island in Fortnite, giving you the chance to travel to Mersa Veta Station on the planet Ord Ryla and have some thrilling adventures with Hondo Ohnaka.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run | Fortnite is a first-of-its-kind experience that connects the attraction at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort with an all-new Star Wars adventure called Smugglers Gambit.

And yes, that means what happens aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run can continue beyond Batuu, or start on planet Ord Ryla in Fortnite.

During a conversation on the Walt Disney Imagineering Center Stage, Ray Gresko, SVP and Head of Product & Development for Disney Games and Digital Entertainment, and Asa Kalama, Executive of Creative & Interactive Experiences at Walt Disney Imagineering, shared insights into the use of Unreal Engine 5 to enable ride customization and discussed the creative collaboration with Lucasfilm that led to the in-house development of Smugglers Gambit in Fortnite.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run | Fortnite serves as an early example of connecting the physical world of a Disney experience with the digital world of Fortnite, creating new opportunities for guests to interact with and engage across both experiences in deeper and more immersive ways.

It could start when you’re climbing into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. Or it could start while exploring this brand-new corner of the Star Wars galaxy in Fortnite. Either way, the adventure with Hondo now moves from the queue to your screen at home, or back again.
