You can own your own Star Wars: Battle Pod

The Star Wars: Battle Pod has been knocking around the galaxy for the last four years, and anyone who’s had a blast on this thoroughbred of an arcade machine knows only too well what an amazing game it is.

Now you can own this beast….but it might set you back a few credits.

A standard edition of Star Wars: Battle Pod will set you back $35,000 (or about £24,000 in old money). If that’s not eye-watering enough for you – or, you know, you’ve just won the lottery or something – there’s also a Premium Edition, which comes with leather seats, plush carpets, a bound manual and an engraved plate with your name and a unique number on it. The price? $100,000 (or £65,000 in groats).

Bear in mind, too, that those prices don’t include postage and packing. We’ve no idea how much it will cost to send a hulking, 2.4 metre high, 825lb cabinet through the post, but Namco may be able to help you out if you get in touch with them – more details can be found on their website.
