1985. Back then, Michael J. Fox was enjoying his breakout year as Teen Wolf and Marty McFly, while Harrison Ford was enjoying somewhat of a breakout year of his own, moving beyond the safety net of sci-fi, action adventure and Lucasfilm to star in Witness, the role that gave him his one and only Academy Award nomination. Now, 41 years later, the careers of those two actors finally overlap as Fox joins Ford in the third season of Shrinking, and speaking at Apple TV’s inaugural press day at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, Ford was keen to compliment his new co-star while making it clear that if Shrinking was his final role, he’d be happy with that.

“Where do you go from here? The kind of work that we’re able to do is remarkable given the tools we have to work with, and the notion that lies behind this series. And if it was all over here, that would be sufficient, This has been a different kind of job for me, and I’ve been doing this for a long time. This is very special and it really nurtures me and makes me feel like what we’re doing has value and importance. I look for that in my life and I’m happy to have found it here.”
