He’s the author behind the adaptations of Return of the Jedi, Poltergeist, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Goonies, along with noivels in the Star Trek universe and his own adventures, and now writer James Kahn has joined Substack, where he’ll be gling into detail about his life as a writer, his career as an ER doctor and plenty more besides. I’m an ER doc who wrote the novelizations of Return of the Jedi, The Goonies, and Poltergeist. Wrote for Star Trek and lots more, and have generally witnessed more strange stories than I can recount. Yet that’s what I aim to do in this substack.
