Landing 2nd August in the US and Canada and 1st September in the UK, it’s issue 212 of Star Wars Insider magazine, which as always brings a galactically awesome collection of articles and interviews, including my chat with Captain Panaka himself, Hugh Quarshie*.

In this issue of Star Wars Insider, there’s an exclusive interview with Carey Jones, the actor inside the Krrsantan costume in The Book of Boba Fett (2021), and we also take a speculative look at how life on Endor might have been changed for the Ewoks by the presence of the Empire. Other highlights include interviews with Hugh Quarshie (Captain Panaka in 1999’s The Phantom Menace), Star Wars: Shadow of the Sith author Adam Christopher, and Industrial Light & Magic matte painting veteran Craig Barron. Plus, there’s exclusive new fiction by Rodney Barnes starring Jedi Master Mace Windu.

HUGH QUARSHIE INTERVIEW
The Phantom Menace’s Captain Panaka looks back at the acting challenges of making the movie.

ADAM CHRISTOPHER INTERVIEW

EXCLUSIVE ALL-NEW FICTION

FROM THE SHADOWS

STEWARDS OF THE FOREST MOON
Anthropologists and tribal cultural experts discuss the Ewoks and how their way of life was affected by the Empire’s arrival.
