The Apprentice Lives: Ahsoka Tano is featured in Starburst Magazine #471

Neatly coinciding with the arrival of Ahsoka in the 5th episode of season 7 ‘Gone With A Trace‘, Starburst Magazine shines a light on the former padawan of Anakin Skywalker as she returns to the limelight in the series and in The Rise of Skywalker with my latest article for the magazine looking at her journey so far.

It was April 2005, onstage at Star Wars Celebration III in Indianapolis, when George Lucas first revealed that Lucasfilm were working on a new animated Star Wars TV series, “a 3-D continuation of the pilot series that was on the Cartoon Network.” That would eventually become Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but fans had no idea that along with the characters they expected to journey through the three years of the wars – Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Mace Windu, Chancellor Palpatine, the Jedi Council as well as Padme Amidala and her secret husband Anakin Skywalker – they would be introduced to a new lead character, a 14-year-old Togruta teenager who soon becomes the padawan to Anakin Skywalker, himself by now a well-respected Jedi Knight and hero of the Republic.
