The Phantom Menace celebrates a quarter of a centruy of high-speed action and intrigue, kicking off the pivotal prequel trilogy with amost a billion dollars at the worldwide box office, making it the second highest grossing film of all time behind only Titanic (currently number 47 with a lifetime gross of $1,027,083,462 and one of only three films from the last century to break the billion alongside Titanic and Jurassic Park).
