While the fandom grieves, the friends and co-stars of the late Carl Weathers – the man not only behind the character of Greef Karga but also behind the camera on season 2’s The Siege and season 3’s The Foundling – have taken to social media to express their own sorrow at his passing.

Many of his co-stars from The Mandalorian shared their thoughts.

The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau shared his own thoughts.

“I am heartbroken by this devastating loss. He was a hero from my childhood who I was lucky enough to meet and then had the amazing good fortune to work with. He had the energy and curiosity of a young man paired with the wisdom that his rich life and career afforded him. My heart goes out to his family and countless admirers.”

We’d be remiss if we didn’t share the thoughts of Weather’s most famous co-star, Sylvester Stallone.
