Saturday March 23rd might not have been a result on the ice for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, losing 3-0 to the Utica Comets on their annual Star Wars Night, but The Penguins (the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins) certainly had the Force with them as once again they donned Dave Filoni designed jerseys for the night.

Sports Centre anchor Arda Ocal was the first to reveal the jersey.

This year’s design features Ahsoka following her debut season on Disney Plus. The Penguins have been sporting Star Wars alternates since 2016 and are designed by long-time Pittsburgh Penguins fan and Star Wars legend, Dave Filoni.

Traditionally, the post-game jerseys are up for auction with proceeds donated to charitable organizations.
