A fun, pocket-sized book packed with inspiration from the galaxy’s most (in)famous bounty hunter.
Throw aside the 9-to-5 and discover the joys of going freelance!
In a big wide galaxy you’ll find every personality type. There are those who want to work for a large, stable employer like the Imperial Navy, pushing buttons on a space cruiser. There are also those who are content living the simple (but dull) life of a merchant or moisture farmer. And then there are those special few who long for the freelance life.
If you aren’t afraid of grueling (and sometimes frowned upon) work, traveling to exotic locations, and being your own boss, you may find guidance in the wise words of those who have been there. Be More Boba Fett will help guide you on your path to the independent life of a successful entrepreneur.

With The Book of Boba Fett the talk of the town right now and all things Fett littering the thoughts of Star Wars fans everywhere, those forward-thinking folks at DK have chosen the pefect moment to release their latest book in the Be More series as Joseph Jay Franco’s Be More Boba Fett arrives. As wit the previous releases, it not only gives us a great insight into the character but does so with a focus, this time that of becoming an independent contractor, and who’s more independent than the former greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy?
We’re not only reading all the great advice within but accompanying it with some lush imahges from his youthful past (the Geonosis arena from Attack of the Clones) right through the Clone Wars and the original trilogy to The Mandalorian and that comfy audience chamber throne. It’s a self-help book, of sorts, giving brief but insightful advice on such matters as finding your path, working for hire, standing out from the crowd, mastering your trade and playing the long game (something Boba learned to do very well). For example, on page 15, opposite an image of Bossk we get advice regarding the right time to go solo, essential for someone with independent leanings. When you’re spending more time fixing other people’s mistakes than you would being on your own, it’s time to get out of Dodge. Or page 31 facing an image of Greedo and the warning ‘don’t make rookiee mistakes’. Enthusiasm is always welcome, but that can also alert more seasoned professionals and make you vulnerable. In this instance, Greedo is a very pertinent example.
As with the previous books this really is a lot of fun, a colourful, brisk but surprisingly insightful dip into the world of a freelance operator in the Star Wars galaxy. As Fett changes his own focus and career it’s good to see a Fett related book that puts the current presentation of the acid-scarred veteran front and center after decades of the same limited Empire and Jedi images, and just like the books before it, Be More Boba Fett leaves you wanting more from this fun series.
Personally, I’m hoping for Be More Cassian Andor and the perils of being an undercover spy in a dangerous galaxy. We can but hope.
