Episode 10: One Way Out
Official summary: A rare opportunity opens and the time for Cassian and his fellow inmates to act is now.
Trivia
New faces on Ferrix are: Jezzi (played by Pamela Nomvete) and Doctor Mullmoy (Matt Dunkley). The cameo here is with Matt Dunkley, who is also one of the conductors of the Andor soundtrack.
Davo Sculdun is portrayed by Richard Dillane, who also can be seen in movies as Argo and The Dark Knight.
The new prisoner that was send to replace Ulaf never received a name. In the end credits he is mentioned as “Apostle”, and was played by James Cooney. Just like the prison announcement voice being mentioned as “Voice of God”, it is safe to assume that these are just production names and not actual in-universe terms, names or nicknames.
The prison control center has the same petal-shaped workstations as seen on the Death Star, but now they are colored white.
The blasters with the silver tip may look familiar to you, as they are either DL-17’s or DH-17’s. The DH-17 are the ones seen in the opening scene of A New Hope where Rebel Fleet Troopers use them to defend the Tantive IV. Comparing them with the ones from Andor, there are differences to be spotted. The biggest being the gap missing between the barrel and the attachment directly on top of it. The DH-17, as seen in Rogue One, makes more sense to be the model seen in this episode. It does have this gap, but the weathering and scope are somewhat different on that prop. Considering the Rogue One prop was with a Partisan, it would make sense it saw more action and weathering due to it, then one rather unused at a prison in a spotless environment.
On Coruscant three new alien designs can be spotted.
While the end credits always did mentioned Robert Emms’ character to be Supervisor Lonni Jung, it is nice to hear the first name being used by Luthen.
