Dave Tree

Dave Tree has been an active participant in the UK collecting and fan community for nearly 25 years, back when there was the resurgence of new comics, books, video games and “widescreen” VHS releases in the early 90’s.

Over the years Dave has participated and contributed to many Star Wars related projects and was the brains behind the fondly remembered Palitoy Archive exhibition at 2007’s Celebration Europe and was a member of Caravan of the Force which journeyed to Essen with Jeremy Bulloch for the 2013 Celebration Europe.

Dave eats, lives and breathes toys, he is the owner of toy and collectible retailer All The Cool Stuff and event management company All The Cool Stuff Events Limited, which creates promotional toy related events, including the popular Farthest From: Retro Star Wars Toy Show and ComicCon at Film New Forest.

In addition, capitalizing on his industry background experience, Dave also provides services to several toy brands assisting and supporting with product development, marketing and product launches.

A fan of toy history and documenting has led Dave to be invited to present many panels and discussion groups both in the U.K. Europe and United States on toy brands and their development. He is also the curator of “The Vault”, an archive library of toy reference material comprised of some 400+ trade catalogues and articles (which is available for toy designers and design students to use for their own projects), was the co-host of The Full Force podcast: a fancast of the world of Action Force and G.I. Joe and co-hosts Making Tracks on Fantha Tracks Radio.
