Matt Bell
Born in the early 80’s, Star Wars has just always been part of Matt’s life. One of his earliest memories is his parents buying him the Kenner Y-Wing fighter toy and he’s been a fan and collector ever since.
Matt’s fandom continued to grow even more with the Star Wars resurgence of the 90’s. Reading the Expanded Universe and West End Games supplements, playing the LucasArts computer games and being active in fan groups and forums since the early days of the Internet. At this time Matt began to write his own Star Wars reference books and character guides.
His fandom is just as strong today, with his collecting focus on Star Wars literature and items from the 90’s he couldn’t afford at the time.
A long time moderator on the He-Man.org forums and also contributed to the ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: A Character Guide and World Compendium‘ published by Dark Horse. A Star Wars and He-Man fan, can you tell he’s an 80’s child.
Likely inspired by Indiana Jones, Matt is also a fan of travel, having visited over 40 different countries and climbed Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp.
Matt lives in Nottingham, England with his partner Sara, and is an IT Professional by day.
