Speaking on the latest episode of The Graham Norton Show which also featured Chaos Walking star Daisy Ridley, Line of Duty actor Adrian Dunbar discussed his brief time in the Star Wars galaxy in a scene trimmed from The Phantom Menace. Describing his character as Bail Organa – the name of the character as he shot it, later changed to Bail Antilles – he mentioned that the only thing that survived was a lone photograph, but as you can see below, his scene does survive in this fan edit.

“I got a tiny part, years ago. I was in this big, kinda intergalactic conference going on, I was standing in this pod. There was a couple of guys behind me wearing green pigs’ heads. It was a huge bluescreen shoot, I had to come out, say a couple of lines.

“We do a rehearsal, say a couple of lines and I hear this voice say, ‘That is the worst American accent I have ever heard’. It was Liam Neeson. He was really winding me up.

“I was playing a character called Bail Organa. I was told he went off to fight in the Clone Wars, right? And then I ended up on the cutting room floor.”
