ILM VFX: Actors discuss StageCraft

While the technology is undeniably impressive (most impressive), the magic of StageCraft still has to work for the actors performing in front of them, otherwise the illusion is only half-complete. Here, ILM VFX give us a closer look at the tech and a selection of the actors who have worked in tandem with this groundbreaking technology to deliver unforgettable performances.

For an actor, performing in one of ILM’s StageCraft LED volumes is not like working on a traditional film set with green screens. There’s no need to imagine the world around you, because it’s all right there in front of you.
