We now have under a month to go until the first two episodes of The Acolyte arrive on Disney Plus, and as the excitement ramps up we’re going to hear from the cast and crew of the show a lot in the coming weeks. Here, the actor behind smuggler Qimir, Manny Jacinto, discusses his character who appears to be very different from any smugglers we’ve met in the GFFA before.
“Qimir isn’t the most fashionable person. I think he’s spent a lot of his money eating at his home planet’s cantina. His fashion sense is basically hobbit meets … poverty.”
“Qimir is an everyday guy minding his own business, doing his own thing and gets pulled into this whole storyline, whether he likes it or not.”
