Here are the events for this week: –

March 28

Redback Garrison will be at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital Easter Party.

March 30

Alpine Garrison will be in Washington City, UT for The Last Jedi Blu-ray release at Walmart from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
Central Garrison will be in Fargo, ND for Star Wars Night with the Red Hawks at Newman Outdoor Field.
Garrison Tyranus will be in Washington D.C. for AwesomeCon from March 30 to 31st.

March 31

70th Explorers Garrison will be in Ballwin, MO for Hunt For A Cure at Queeny Park from 10:00 AM to noon.
Austrian Garrison will be in Graz for the Elbenwald Store Opening from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Central Garrison will be in Mason City, IA for Inflatable Fun Day at the National Guard Armory.
Central California Garrison will be in Lodi, CA for Grape City Con from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and in Clovis, CA for The Dachshunds Strike Back! at Rocket Dog 2 from noon to 4:00 PM.
Dutch Garrison will be in Utrecht for Dutch Comic Con 2018.
New England Garrison will be in Northampton, MA for the Meltdown Music & Book Festival from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
Northeast Remnant Garrison will be in Wayne, NJ for Zapp Comic Con from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Star Garrison will be in Houston, TX for Yuri’s Night Houston Fun Run, and in El Paso, TX for the 2018 El Paso Stroll for Epilepsy.
Timberline Garrison will be in Idaho Falls, ID for the Great Easter Egg Hunt at Snake River Landing Event Tent Area from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.

April 1

UK Garrison will be in Newbury for the Easter Egg Hunt at Highclere Castle from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and in Basildon for Heroes and Villains at Festival Leisure Park from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

April 2

Garrison Carida will be in Hershey, PA for the Children’s Miracle Network Annual Miracle Party.
UK Garrison will be in Watford for FanZone Comic Con at Watford Central Leisure Centre from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Event Details

The Mandalorian and Grogu, announced as The Mandalorian & Grogu, is a Star Wars movie that started production in 2024. Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni, it takes place between the events of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens, focuses on the adventures of Din Djarin and Din Grogu, and will be a spinoff to the TV series Star Wars: The Mandalorian. The film was announced on January 9 that year on StarWars.com with a conceptual sketch by veteran illustrator Ryan Church, along with an announcement of a second season of the television series Star Wars: Ahsoka. A fourth season of The Mandalorian is also still in development.

On May 7, 2019, Disney revealed their future movie release schedule, including a set of three untitled new Star Wars films, one of which had a scheduled release date of December 20, 2024. The Star Wars Show also reported on the news on May 15. On July 23, 2020, after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was delayed to December 19, 2025. After the start of the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, Disney shifted their theatrical film release slate, with the film being pushed to its current release date of May 22, 2026. A film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy occupied this release slot until The Mandalorian & Grogu was announced.

Star Wars Insider 224 revealed the initial film logo was the same as the one for The Mandalorian Season Three. In August 2024, during D23 2024, it was revealed that the film had entered production, and a new logo was revealed, in addition to a teaser that was shown to the audience. In August 2024, Sigourney Weaver revealed that she had joined the cast of The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Alongside the release of the movie, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will be updated to include a new mission featuring Djarin, Grogu, Tatooine, Endor and Cloud City, which takes place off camera from the film.
