Star Wars content at Awesome Con: 30th March – 1st April 2018

Awesome Con kicks off today and brings a wide array of Star Wars related guests and activities to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001.

A galaxy from far, far away is coming to Awesome Con! Fans will be able to take a step into the Star Wars universe with an exhibit of official Lucasfilm costumes and props from The Last Jedi. The exhibit in The Backlot will feature costumes from fan-favorite characters like Rey and Luke Skywalker and props like lightsabers and a Porg!

Make sure to check it out at Backlot booth #339.

BB-8 geniuses Matt Denton and Josh Lee takes us behind the creation of our favourite new astromech tomorrow.

We’re excited to announce that the production team behind fan-favorite Star Wars droid, BB-8, is coming to Awesome Con as part of Future Con! Matt Denton, Electronics Design and Development Supervisor, and Josh Lee, Senior Animatronic Designer will be at the show on Saturday, March 31 to meet with Fans and discuss their work in the Star Wars universe.

And you can meet BB-8 in person!
