The battle between the massed ranks of the Jedi – both experienced and not – in the debut season of The Acolyte was already feral and brutal enough, but speaking at this past weekends Denver Fan Expo, series star Manny Jacinto pointed to deleted scenes that were even more brutal, highlighting just how merciless the Stranger really was.
“Star Wars has always been PG, but you want to find some brutal aspects of these fights… There was one moment, I think, where I just take one Jedi and keep slamming his head on to a rock, because we wanted to show how brutal this guy could be, without any remorse.”
