There’s plenty of interesting information in this interview with Predator: Badlands stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, who along with Writer/director Dan Trachtenberg reveal that not only did the ‘backpack’ relationship between C-3PO and Chewbacca in The Empire Strikes Back help inform the story but there are also more connections between Predator and Alien coming our way now Disney are ramping up production of new stories in both worlds.

The latest installment of the Predator franchise sees a young Yautja warrior teaming up with a Weyland-Yutani synth. Writer/director Dan Trachtenberg and stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi explain how this odd pairing work as partners and whether fans should expect Badlands to feature more concrete connections to the Alien movies, not to mention the upcoming FX series Alien: Earth.
