Where do you even start, replicating one of the most impressive (and triclky) stop-mition armatures ever, created, the AT-AT from The Empire Strikes Back? That’s what modelmakers Peter Lawrence, Felix Beyer, Marvin Stiefelhagen, Bjorn Rudgley managed to do after years of research, and Adam Savage took a closer look, to his very slear amazement.

Adam checks out one of the most ambitious and impressive Star Wars fan projects he’s ever encountered: a fully machined AT-AT Walker model replicating the original stop-motion armatures created by the ILM Model Shop for The Empire Strikes Back! The team of Peter Lawrence, Felix Beyer, Marvin Stiefelhagen, Bjorn Rudgley have spent years researching, iterating, and perfecting this puppet, and bring it to the cave to tour Adam through its details and construction.
