8810 backers get behind HASLAB’s successful first campaign

It’s not that many days ago when it looked more likely that HASLAB’s Jabba’s Sail Barge would fail to hit its intended target of 5000 backers, until a late surge saw literally thousands of backers get behind the campaign and sail it easily across the finishing line to a final total of 8810 backers.

Hat’s off to all concerned, and here’s to many more future projects – hopefully ones that include the many thousand of potential backers across the rest of the planet. Remember, the barge will never be offered in the US and Canada ever again, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t be offered to the rest of the galaxy at some point (looks like the devil’s in the details on this one).

So, if you laid out your $499.99 for this Vintage Collection masterpiece the countdown clock is ticking. Stay close to your letterboxes…or perhaps watch out for a 16-wheeler to drop this off at your house.
