Writing over at the official site, Lucas Seastrom asks ‘who is Maul‘, taking a look at Maul, from his first appearance in The Phantom Menace to his return in Solo: A Star Wars Story and appearances in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, all to tee up the arrival tomorrow of the first trailer for Maul – Shadow Lord, which lands on Disney Plus later this year.
Now Maul will receive his own dedicated treatment in Lucasfilm Animation’s Shadow Lord, set in the early years of the reign of the Empire. Like other Star Wars stories, including Andor and the prequel trilogy, we have a sense of where things are going, but it’s the question of how we get there that makes it such an enticing tale.
