See a new scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story early with Renault

You may recall that Renault are working in partnership with Solo: A Star Wars Story.  Well today whilst I was walking through Waterloo station in London I found a stand that was advertising both the car and the film.  I managed to get some footage so that you can see what it looked like and give you an idea of where it is (which you can see below).

The big news it that if you speak to one of the promoters at the stand (and tell them Fantha Tracks sent you) they can invite you to sit in the passenger seat and experience the “co-pilot VR experience”.  This involves putting on a VR headset and headphones and then experiencing a new scene in VR.

So what scene do you see? Of course I am not going to spoil it (and it cuts just before it gets really exciting) but I can tell you that it has many of the main cast in it (and you are staring right at Lando) is rammed with creatures and the stakes are certainly high!

The stand will be at Waterloo station until Sunday but will then go on a tour of the UK from there (we have reached out to Renault to see if they can give us an itinerary).  Also it is worth contacting your local dealership to see if they are running the VR experience as well.

I have to say the footage I saw today has set me up nicely for the film that comes out in just over a months time.
