Things are changing on the West Coast, as the original trilogy comes to Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Anaheim, and along with Darth Vader we’ll be seeing Han Solo, along with the last Princess of Alderaan debuting a new live action look, one inspired by comics and a smash-hit video game, as Matt Martin explains.

“This is Leia’s adventure look,” explains Lucasfilm senior creative executive Matt Martin. “It’s inspired by some comic book appearances from this era, as well as the look that she had in Star Wars Battlefront II, the video game. But this is really the first time we get to see it physically created on a person.”

Along with Leia comes Han Solo, reunited with Chewbacca and ready to roam Black Spire Outpost from 29th April.

“We’re thrilled to have Han reunited with his old pal Chewie,” Michael Serna, executive creative director for Disney Live Entertainment adds. “This is my dream come true to see these two in person, especially hanging out by the Millennium Falcon. Han’s wearing his familiar vest, and his shirt, pants, and accessories are upgraded to highlight his usual swagger and style.”
