We have a new Star Wars film heading our way for the first time in almost seven years, and one of the treats of a GFFA marketing campaign – quite apart from the toys and collectibles – is seeing Star Wars related foodstuffs on shelves. Be sure to tune in to this evenings 21st episode of Collecting Tracks, where Richard and Andy discuss Mando and Grogu (and food promotions) and here take a sip of the great news that Robinsons are rolling our a promotion for The Mandalorian and Grogu that includes two new flavours – Mango-Lorian Blast (Starfruit & Mango) and Beskar Berry Blend (Pomegranate & Blackberry).

This April, Robinsons is teaming up with the much anticipated ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu’ movie. To mark the first cinema release from the Star Wars franchise since 2019, Robinsons are launching two limited-edition flavours: Mango-Lorian Blast (Starfruit & Mango) and Beskar Berry Blend (Pomegranate & Blackberry).

The two flavours will be available in Robinsons Core Double Concentrate, featuring an intergalactic sparkle, as well as Robinsons Ready-to-Drink and Fruit Shoot, helping retailers tap into shopper buzz around the iconic franchise. To further drive excitement, Robinsons Core Orange and Apple & Blackcurrant 1.75L and 1L formats and Robinsons Minis 66ml format will feature unmissable on-pack thematics. The tie-up will be supported with national out-of-home advertising to help increase campaign awareness.

Robinsons, the number one squash brand1, is a firm family favourite bought by nearly 40% of households2. Now worth £648m3, the UK squash category continues to deliver impressive scale and strong shopper demand. Through this collaboration, retailers can capitalise on that popularity by encouraging shoppers to ‘discover a galaxy of refreshment’, attracting new shoppers while driving purchase among existing fans of both squash and Star Wars. With Star Wars’ broad family appeal set to spark consumer curiosity and excitement in-store, the collaboration will further cement Robinsons and Fruit Shoot as go-to family favourites.
