Gary Whitta has been talking more about Rogue One lately, and when recently asked on Twitter about the drafts of the story and script he said there was an early version with an opening crawl, before the decision was taken that the standalone films wouldn’t have the crawl opening.

In reply to the question he said :

“I did write a crawl, and I remember thinking it was neat that it was the same number of words as the one in A New Hope. This was before the (correct) decision not to have opening crawls for the standalones.”

So, what would your opening crawl for Rogue One have said?
