Warwick Davis will be turning on the Christmas lights at the Grand Arcade in Cambridge, which inevitably means someone will steer him towards a light switch and say ‘Flick it, Wicket.”

The Grand Arcade in Cambridge will mark the start of the festive season with the help of some very special guests, including actor Warwick Davis.

At 4pm on Sunday, November 17, the shopping centre will be switching on its Christmas lights in the presence of BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s Jeremy Sallis, who will be there to present an afternoon of entertainment. A host of choirs and musicians will be performing from 12pm, including Vocal Remix, the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts students, and St Mary’s School’s Chamber Choir.
