7 Birthday Party Game Ideas For Your Little Jedi

Children, adults, and even pets. Who doesn’t love Star Wars and everything from that galaxy far far away? This is an article for the lovers of Star Wars that don’t miss a chance of making up an excuse to use Star Wars themed ideas in their daily lives. If your family is also religiously fan of these series, these next seven-game ideas are definitely for you.

Birthday parties can be challenging to organize, especially if it involves a big group of energic kids with a bit of a sugar rush. Star Wars comes once again to save the galaxy and release it from the dark force. The following birthday party game ideas promise to help you organizing a forever remembering birthday event for your little Jedi.

First of all, remember to invite the guests in an original way. Use online tools to create Star Wars invitations, such as Canvas or Photoshop. Nevertheless, there are already made templates of party invitations you can use to your own, just edit the details and send it right away.

Next, you can set the rule that each guest needs to cosplay. No one is mandatorily to bring a full costume of Star Wars, but at least some accessories that help you get transported to another planet.

If the guests don’t have anything they can use, make sure you can provide some items to each one of the guests, so they feel integrated and follow the galaxy costume rules. We promise you, this will be as fun as betting on NFL odds.

When everyone is ready to take off from planet Earth, start the mission of becoming a Jedi. Each guest must receive a card with their ‘Jedi Mission goals’. For each completed mission, they must receive a star to stick in that card.

1. Escape from the Death Star – this mission requires passing by an obstacle field inspired by Star Wars. Some of the obstacles include going through Strom Trooper laser fire (red strings between trees or another support), wading through a trash pit (a ball pit filled with cardboard tubes), shooting a tie fighter (that can be made out of newspaper), bowling down the Storm Troopers, and finally, bombing the powerful Death Star (a corn hole game).

2. Building a droid – this mission requires guests to craft an R2D2. Give them hand and crafts tools so they can build what their imagination is up to. Some crayons, ropes, glue, paper, and scissors.

3. Lightsaber training – becoming a Jedi requires, as well, knowing how to hold and use a lightsaber. The guests can challenge each other for a fight, while using pool noodle lightsabers and some balloons, mainly white, to recreate the Storm Troopers threat. Blown all the balloons shall be!

4. Jedi Bubble War – While blowing bubbles to the Jedi to be, they should use their lightsabers to attack it and eliminate the enemy.

5. Intergalactic Photobooth – this game is a strategy to have pictures of all the guests of the party in a very fun way. They must pose with a Darth Vader standee, for example, lightsabers, Star Wars masks, Princess Leia hair buns or Yoda ears. Print a big Darth Vader and stick it to cardboard so you have a good background for the photo booth.

6. Darth Vader Piñata – It is time to defeat the dark lord. Once it is defeated, the galaxy is safe, and the guests’ stomachs will be delighted with a bunch of candies. The Darth Vader piñata can be made with cardboard and paper.

7. The final hunt for Darth Vader candle – this final hunt is the perfect time to gather all the guests together to follow next to the cake time. Darth Vader candle is supposedly stolen, and children need to find it. This is like an Easter egg hunt, but instead, they are looking for the candle or candles to the cake. Once they find it, they complete the Jedi mission. To mark this achievement, you can offer the children some Star Wars souvenir, like a candy bag, a cosplay accessorizes or a coloring book.

Once all the missions are complete, it is a great time to gather for the cake and finish the mission of protecting the galaxy. With all the mastered Jedi, there is no such thing as a new threat to the universe. Have fun!
