With his fellow Community cast member Donald Glover inhabiting the skin of the young Lando Calrissian, Jim Rash – the man behind Dean Pelton – is also aiming for the skies with a role in Star Wars: Resistance, and he discusses that while promoting his new film Bernard and Huey with ET.

“You’ll hear [my voice] come out of a creature. It’s really cool. Bobby Moynihan and I are basically two guys who basically run the equipment. You know, sort of check-out area. Sort of like an Oscar/Felix [from The Odd Couple]. It’s literally a character named Flex.”

“I wish I knew more. Obviously, we drop in and did that sort of as a recurring, so there are so many things that happen in between that we are not privy to, so I can’t wait to see it. At best, I saw early animation. It’s already amazing and this wasn’t even a finished product.”

Exciting times, and as the months tick down we’re sure to see and hear much more from Resistance.
