2022 is blasting its way towards us fast and with it comes news of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series coming to Disney Plus. The latest issue of Empire magazine – meant to be out on Thursday 25th November but now delayed to the 29th – features Kathleen Kennedy discussing the Kenobi series, and the emotional reunion of its two stars, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen.

“The thing that was most exciting was being on the set and watching the two of them get excited. They hadn’t seen one another in a long time. I was surprised at just how incredibly emotional it was for each of them to find themselves back in these roles, and just realising how important Star Wars was to each of them. It was the beginning of their careers.”

Seeing Luke Skywalker return at the end of The Mandalorian season two was a Star Wars moment for the ages, and seeing a live action Anakin and Obi-Wan in 2022 could well equal that endorphine rush. We’ll be reviewing every episode here on the site and discussing on Making Tracks, so subscribe, bookmark and let’s enjoy the ride together.
