Mary Elizabeth Winstead on Hera Syndulla in Ahsoka season 2: “I’m in this season a bit more”

While being very careful not to give much away while speaking with Collider, Mary Elizabeth Winstead did allow us a glimpse into Ahsoka season 2, a season that Dave Filoni himself said was built around conflict (“I’ll just say what it is ‘cause they came all this way, and I know what they really want to talk about which is what’s in season two. So, half of it is a really really big battle. There is going to be a war in our Star Wars. Like an all out, throwdown on a scale as best as I can do it, as best as Jon and I can afford it because we want that.”) – which gives us every reason to hope for an action-packed season of television. It seems that our Twi’lek general is featured far more heavily in the second season than the first, something Winstead is clearly excited about.

“You know, I’m not sure what I can say, other than I’m in this season a bit more, which is fun. I’m definitely in on the action, as you say, quite a bit more, which was great to have a Hera really, kind of like, you know, getting some stuff done. So yeah, I honestly, I’m not gonna say much more than that, just because I’ve not [been] given my guidelines yet. So I’m gonna leave it at that. But it was so much fun. I just finished it, and it was an absolute blast. I loved every minute of it. So I can’t wait for people to see it.”
