Funko continues to expand with a 395,000 sq. ft. warehouse opening in early April in Coventry, giving the company a distribution centre tailor-made to manage demand going forward.

Since it began trading in January 2017, Funko EMEA has seen significant expansion, with the past three years’ growth surpassing expectations as the business continues to strategically expand into new and existing markets.

In 2019, Funko further accelerated its business development through category diversification into brands such as Loungefly, Funko Games, Funko Home + Gift, as well as further softlines, to meet the demands of new and existing customer channels within EMEA.

To reflect the companies progression, provide its partners with an upgraded level of service and alleviate pressure on the company’s operational infrastructure, Funko has announced plans to relocate its UK operational base to a new distribution centre, located in Coventry.

With 395,000 sq. ft. of operating space, including 17,000 sq. ft. of new offices and 34 loading bays, the state-of-the-art fulfilment centre is nearing completion. The new facility will be predominantly servicing the UK and Irish markets, however, a portion of its capacity will be dedicated to mainland European customers, as well as higher complexity orders.
