Meet R2-BNE, the first Disney Parks Easter themed Droid Factory astromech

The Disney Parks Droid Factory line continues to expand with R2-BNE, the first Easter themed droid in the Droid Factory line.

Featuring a spring inspired colour scheme of white, blue and pink, with a classic R2 series dome, that is capped with a bunny ears accessory.

The bio on the card back reveals this droid can be found in the idyllic plains of Naboo, no doubt using its sensors to hunt for Easter eggs.

R2-BNE is available now at selected Disney Park and Disney Store locations. It will be available on the ShopDisney US website from 16^th February, and hopefully on ShopDisney website in the UK and other territories from a similar date.

Matt’s fandom continued to grow even more with the Star Wars resurgence of the 90’s. Reading the Expanded Universe and West End Games supplements, playing the LucasArts computer games and being active in fan groups and forums since the early days of the Internet. Matt began to write his own Star Wars reference books and character guides. Today his collecting focus is on Star Wars literature and items from the 90’s.
