The Phantom Menace celebrates a quarter of a centruy of high-speed action and intrigue, kicking off the pivotal prequel trilogy with amost a billion dollars at the worldwide box office, making it the second highest grossing film of all time behind only Titanic (currently number 47 with a lifetime gross of $1,027,083,462 and one of only three films from the last century to break the billion alongside Titanic and Jurassic Park). That definitely requires celebrating, and StarWars.com bring us a look at the new merchandise coming our way – much of it on May the 4th – to tip the hat to the film that heralded the return of original Star Wars movies after the 16 years since Return of the Jedi.
