We’ve been focused on R2-KT for the past few weeks as Albin and co look at the artists of the Star Wars galaxy, but never forget that their primary goal is to raise funds for charity via their gorgeous patches and today, July 4th, Albin brings us news of a new 4th of July patch.

KT friends,

It’s been five years since we last celebrated the Fourth of July with a KT patch. It is a holiday to everyone who celebrates freedom. I thought it would be nice to acknowledge the U.S. was built by immigrants (my grandparents for example), aliens to this land but working together. Human diversity is what makes us strong. I described my idea to artist Juan Jose Matamoros and he perfected it into a beautiful design. So please enjoy R2-KT and some of my favorite aliens of Star Wars: a symbol of working together for hope and for freedom.

Order information:
* 4″ diameter embroidered
* Pre-orders taken until July 15th, shipping in late July
* $7 each (or $5 each for orders of five or more)
* Shipping just $1 for every five patches inside the U.S. ($3 for every five outside the U.S.)
* Pre-order by sending payment via PayPal to r2kt@r2kt.com
* all proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation
* please direct any questions to r2kt@r2kt.com (this email is only for mail-outs)

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. I cherish the freedom we enjoy and I salute everyone in the world who does the same.
