This 1:1 prop replica is based on the hero-style Tusken Raider™ Gaffi Stick™ seen in Star Wars: A New Hope™. Also called a Gaderffii™, this signature edition is part of our Star Wars™ Archive Collection, a continuation and expansion of our work creating authentic replicas with impeccable lineage.
With hands-on access to the original film prop artifacts and high resolution 3D scanning, our team crafted a faithful recreation of the original props from the film, capturing the unique asymmetry, hand-carved look and intentionally crude welding.
With masters created using that technology, our team solid-cast heavy polyurethane resin for the “wood” portion of the Gaderffii club, just like the original props. That section is painted and hand stained with a hint of woodgrain. The metal tube and fins are welded steel with a cast metal spike and layers of hand aging and distressing.
An elegant black wood stand supports the prop for table-top display. This special signature edition also includes a plaque hand-signed by Roger Christian, who built the prop for the 1977 film.
