Available to reserve on Tuesday 20th May at Noon Eastern, this is the new Regal Robot limited edition two-pack of alien concepts from the production of Return of the Jedi. Here we have Bubble Head and Light Man, two characters who never made it to the screen but certainly made it into Star Wars legend.

Concept maquettes have been used to craft the look of Star Wars™ since the first production in the saga. In our work researching and documenting these original artifacts, we’ve marveled at designs that never made it to the final film. We’ve long wanted to offer replicas of some of those imaginative designs and we’re excited to give collectors the chance to bring home two of those creatures with this incredibly unique and deep-cut pair of maquette replica aliens!

Limited to just 100 sets, our all-new numbered edition Light Man and Bubble Head Concept Maquette Replica 2-pack is part of our Star Wars™ Archive Collection, a continuation and expansion of our work creating authentic replicas with impeccable lineage.

With hands-on access to the original film artifacts and high resolution 3D scanning, our team has crafted authentic recreations of the original concept sculptures for these two characters.

The Bubble Head concept was originally sculpted by the late Dan Howard, a foam fabricator who was a builder on many large creatures for the film. Light Man was sculpted by David Carson, known for his work sculpting many maquettes and creature masks for the movie. According to Carson, this was an early concept for a being of light that was to be seen wandering the halls of Jabba’s Palace. Special effects photography was shot on set with a stuntman wearing a dangerous light rig to create the background for those scenes, but they ultimately were unfinished and this design went unused.

At approximately 6″ (Bubble Head) and 8″ tall (Light Man) including the wood display bases, each solid resin maquette is 100% made in the U.S.A. and is meticulously hand painted by the artists in our New York studio, making each a unique tribute to the artistry involved behind the scenes of our favorite films! Each pair in this numbered edition includes two hand-numbered metal plaques and a COA.

Best of all, our artists are already working on the first waves of production of these replicas and we expect paid-in-full orders to ship within just a few weeks of ordering!

Do not miss this extraordinary opportunity to bring these rare and authentic replicas, scanned from the original artifacts that helped design the creatures of the Star Wars universe!

This limited, Numbered Edition is priced at just $349 and includes both alien sculpture replicas. Take advantage of our Special up-to-6-Month Payment Plan (with adjustable down payment and term options)
